Check your attic to see if there your insulation is still in tact. Use a flashlight to look for any wet spots or leaks.

Shingles may blow off or lift in severe windstorms. Wind could also damage the shingle seal, causing water to damage your roof.

Hail can cause dents and dings in your roof shingles. Larger pieces can even make cracks. Look for noticeable damage that could compromise protection against inclement weather.
